We strive to provide an exceptional level of service

Welcome to Trocadero Dublin. As Maitre’d I am delighted to be part of the proud tradition of this famous Dublin restaurant. We hope that your visit will be enjoyable and that we will see you many times in the near future.

Robert joined Trocadero Dublin in 1985. He initially started out in the kitchen but the lure of life on the other side of the double doors proved irresistible. He moved front of house in 1987 and has been a firm favourite with our guests ever since. Now Maitre’d and partner Robert runs the show with charm and finesse. With a welcoming smile, quick wit and a story for every occasion, let our leading man welcome you to the Troc.

Head Chef

We love it when you love it

Liz grew up in the grounds of Slane Castle so it was a natural fit that they were the first kitchens she worked in. She went on to train in the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology, Cathal Brugha St, a true centre for excellence.

A stint in Jury’s in Dublin equipped her for the fast pace of life in a busy kitchen while the luxurious Gidleigh Park in Devon allowed her to develop the commitment to quality and hospitality that she brings to Trocadero.

Liz has an exceptional eye for detail and manages a calm kitchen that belies the fast pace we work at. With a commitment to Irish producers and a true love of what we do, Liz is at once our best kept secret and our leading lady.

And she can lift big pots too.
